I welcome and thank all those who visited this website to learn about pediatric cardiac center of excellence (PCCE) at King Abdul Aziz University. I hope this website will be a communication channel between us and visitors to access our medical services .

PCCE was established with humanitarian responsibility sense of a group of consultant caring about children with heart diseases.  The project was funded and supported by Sheikh Abdullah Bakhsh.  

PCCE was setup in 2015 at King Abdulaziz University Hospital on 750 m2. The Center consists of eight intensive care rooms PCICU , each ICU room accommodate two beds, with the necessary medical facilities to support the sensitive mission (rooms for doctors and nursing staff, warehouse for consumable medical materials, medical equipment room and medications room).

Services are provided by a multidisciplinary teamwork , which includes consultants of pediatric cardiologists, pediatric cardiac surgeons, anesthesia consultants, consultants and specialists in intensive care. In addition to the intensive care nurses, plus the supporting staff. The center is running by latest technologies of medical equipment, which makes the possibility of treating 7 to 10 cases per week.

What has been implemented so far is only a first step of our steps to expand to regional area coverage. In the second phase we will seek to increase the number of the ICU rooms and beds, and to have an independent surgical theater in order to increase the number of treating more children with heart diseases.

The third phase with the help of Allah and his ability will lead to the establishment of an integrated children's hospital to serve every child with heart disease. "Diseased hearts of our children ... deserve help," we hope that our dream is achieved by Allah's will and then by the generous hearts that do not hesitate to help.
